Darren Pearce is one half of JDS and has been rocking dancefloors for over 10 years. I first heard him play in Toronto at System Soundbar (rip) and was hooked ever since. When Purple Funk Monkey was released it became one of the most heavily played tracks in the old ontario breaks scene (rip). I love his sound which takes the funky punchy beats of house and then makes them so much bigger with bass and breaks that teeter on the divide between funk and progressive. Good shizna!
