The legendary DJ Q-Bert! The world’s greatest DJ alive and of all-time. Since he finished as runner-up to DJ David at the 1991 DMC DJ Championships (which was BS by the way), Q-Bert has embarked on an unparalleled career in turntablism. He won three world titles with DMC before being retired. It’s easy to see why they retired himself and Mixmaster Mike, no one would have been able to beat them. He released the greatest hip-hop mixtape of all-time in 1994, which you will find in here. Demolition Pumpkin Squeeze Musik is a mix of funk breaks, comic book comedy and other bits and heavy, heavy scratching and juggling. Any of those shit DJs, mainly in New York, releasing those crew mixtapes are just fuckin useless. Kay Slay, I mean get real—it’s garbage at best. Q-Bert has spent his entire career innovating music and equipment. From the Vestax digital turntable to the straight arm turntable, the Vestax 05, 07 and other mixers and more recently the QFO, Q-Bert has left an unrivaled mark on the industry. He can beat other DJs using only one turntable and no mixer, has invented several scratching techniques, developed some of the earliest scratch break records for use by turntablists and helped develop it into a legitimate genre with countless beat records and sample filled records being released by all kinds of labels, artists and other DJ crews. He travels the world bringing his immense skill, knowledge and genuine appreciation for every fan. As opposed to other great DJs, like Grandmaster Flash who is an egomaniac, Q-Bert has remained quiet, humble and honored to hold the position that his rivals and fans have for him.
