Some of you may remember Pete Tong talking about Desyn Masiello’s road to fame during his Essential Mix debut in 2004, and how it all started from a Promo CD that he released in 1999. Anyways, this here is the famous promo CDR that started it all and won him unprecedented acclaim from global promoters and punters and set the stage for his international career. The CD made such an impression that Desyn, although completely unknown at the time began to get international gig requests. From his first gigs in Helsinki and Tampara, Finland in 2000 to his chaotic schedule today; it all sparked off from that one mix CD.
