what a mix..truly awesome quality clean breaks from start to finish, ive known of these guys 2years back and as far as i recall every track they touch they turn to gold. Myself im currently playing out their mix of alex dolby’s hazy way every where i go and the imense positive response from an international crowd says it all! Evil Nine are one of the best in breaks i must say.

Is Break Beat the saviour of house music? The cross overs happening whether we like it or not. It’s just so good to hear this amazing talent – it inspired me to buy the albumn and I’m not disapointed. Keep it coming EM and R1! awesome mix, and i got to see them the night before this mix was aired in dallas, tx. sadly, they didn’t include the pumpkins remix (one of my favs), but an amazing show none the less. can’t wait till evil 9 makes it back to dallas w/ the crystal method next month.

C’mon you guys. Most of you say the same good things about all the DJ’s on the EM.“Mix of the year” or “takin over in 05”. Some of you peeps need to stay consistent about one dj and thats it. You cant say they are all good cause not of them are. Which brings me to “EVIL NINE”. Im not gonna let the Smashing Pumpkins track win me over and make me say it was the best mix ever cause that was about the only part i liked. Good mixing boring tracks.

Your gonna get the beats! I was anticipating this mix because of Adam Freeland’s last Essential mix was awesome to say the least, but I found out that this wasn’t Adam Freeland but it was 2 guys from his Marine Parade. Anyways this mix is full of awesome beats(I especially liked the Smashing Pumpkins “1979” remix). It did start off kind of slow and finished off really well, but overall it was very enjoyable. Great work Evil Nine, can’t wait to hear from you again. The Scarecrow
