Update by Jon:The description for this set originally mentioned that this set was performed live on XFM, but Steinski himself got in touch with me to request a correction (how cool is that!?).
What was broadcasted was a direct play of his CD which was done in the studio and to quote the man himself ‘he’d hate for people to think he could pull it off live’.
Steinski’s awesome Nothing to Fear mix recorded off James Hyman’s Rinse on XFM, London in 2005.
A must for any lovers of Steinski, Shadow, Chemist and any of the Solesides old school hip hop crew.

Holy cow, all the old Steinski tracks have been released and can be purchased on Amazon.com as a two-disc retrospective. It’s like 9 bucks for all three “Lessons,” seven or eight other classics, and the second disc is the “Nothing to Fear” mix with the tracks indexed, as a gapless mix. It’s a hell of a deal, and good quality mp3s – my only gripe is that “We’ll Be Right Back” isn’t included, which was my first Steinski experience… Highly recommended!
