DJ Spooky :: Ghost World - A Story in Sound

Description

Absolutely stellar – smart, dense blend of Afro pop, hip-hop, reggae, dub, and spoken word. A must-have for any fan of Solid Steel or Mr. Wyse – can’t recommend it highly enough.

The first link is to DJ Spooky’s site, and the file is an .m4a – maybe it’s just my steam-powered technology, but that m4a file didn’t go over so well with my burner. I’ve got an mp3 of it, now, though, which I’ve uploaded to Megaupload – take your pick!

Cheers,

Bursting with good ideas. It’s the artists who steal the show, not the DJ, and maybe that’s the way it should be. If you like your afrobeat and rough & ready ragga then it’ll be right up your street. Let’s face it, any mix with a Fela Kuti track is already on the right track! Enjoy.
