The precursor to the famed “Fav 45s” sessions (which I will post this week), this started out as annual birthday mix for my cuz, JayTram, where you bring your favorite 7" and try to out vinyl-geek each other with rare gems, great breaks, super soul and of course that stanky funk. No LPs, CDs or mp3s allowed for your set.

It was a live session, and the guy on the board was a tad ahead of me on the bourbon ingesting — so it’s a tad fuzzy at times.

Anyway a great collection of sweet soul and funk.
