Here’s a mix to highlight a different side to this DMC champion cut and scratch master. He did this mix on request of his brother, Dave One, who is a member of Chromeo, and electro/new wave/80’s style group. Dave One is also part owner/founder of Audio Research, the Montreal based hip hop label home to DJ Craze and Obscure Disorder.

Basically, Chromeo have a new album, so Dave One asked his brother to create a mix of some of their 80’s influences. These aren’t the usual 80’s fare, and will bring back some memories from that time period for those that experienced it.

Although I don’t have a full tracklist, I can tell you the set starts off with the Chromeo track Needy Girl and goes on to feature tracks from Change, Stacy Lattysaw, Roy Ayers, Chemise, The Deele, Sylvester, Klymaxx, General Caine, The Jets, and more.
