Full disclosure: I don’t really like Walter Meego’s music that much. Too cute, too soft, too I-don’t-know-what – just doesn’t do it for me. But I gotta say, their mixtape skills more than make up for it – when I recorded this mix off of Samurai.FM a couple years ago, I carried the CD of it around for an entire year, sent it to all my friends, couldn’t get enough. A great, eclectic, funky mix, and if for nothing else, I’ll always love it for being the first place I ever heard “Do That There” and “Things Are Getting Better” – now, that’s the shit!
