How’s your German? The Back to the Basics show has been rolling auf Deutsch since 1992, and online at http://www.vinylizer.net since … uhhhh, was the Interwebs around back then? I don’t know, I just turned 30, and I think I was drunk the whole year. Anyway, I got into BTTB in the early 2000’s, and it was the mixes by Bigga Bush (Rockers Hi-Fi) and Rob Smith (Smith & Mighty) that made me love it. This one is particularly fine – from jazz to dub to breaks and back around, Bigga brings it lovely throughout. Highly recommended! Stay tuned for another one from Bigga, and a few from Rob Smith, as soon as I get around to posting them…
