Mushroom Jazz is Mark Farina’s own genre of house rhythms and tribalish type funk which “combines elements of downtempo, hip hop, jazz and r&b” (according to wikipedia) its the ultimate chill out, its as down as downtempo can be…for me nothing else can quench the palate when i need to take life down a gazillion notches and just chill the fuck out. the mushroom jazz series should be purchased by everyone and they will easily hit your top ten of all dj experiences thus far. for those who doubt here’s a live recording, excellant quality, to make you chew on your doubting ass words.
