DJ Bailey :: Junglistic Version Excursion

Description

Bailey threw down this mix during his IntaBeats show, date of show was 17-6-07. In this mix Bailey is playing classic jungle tracks b2b with the original reggae tracks which the jungle tracks sampled.

This is another mix which has been on heavy rotation in my mp3 player.

Recommended for all junglist!

Woah! Very impressed with Mr Bailey for this little gem.
Basically if you have even a slight liking for jungle music and/or Reggae music this mix is essential!
He is giving some credit to the (reggae) originals while rinsing in some serious old skool jungle killers…….BADNESS!

How can I download this as an MP3? The link only wants to stream the mix.

Just right click on the link and then choose the option to save link as

I assume you mean that I try a different browser (Explorer doesn’t ‘save link as’, it saves ‘target as’). Tried using Firefox, and right clicked on above link, and that just saves a htl page. The second link, again just saves the rapidshare page, and after a while the mp3 plays automatically as a stream, and the Rapidshare download does the same.

Save as / save target as ain’t gonna work as afaik rapidshare never provides an actual link to right click.

The streaming problem is strange though, never heard of it happening on rapidshare, but sounds like it’s a client side issue.

Anyway, I’ve added another link for megaupload which you’ll hopefully have more joy with.

Thanks mate, I think this set is exactly the kind of sound I like; oldskool with plenty of reggae!

Thanks for upping a MU link Jon. Hmm I always save link as with rapidshare, but then I have an account. If it is different for free users my mistake, sorry Palmer

No worries mate.

Yeah, not the biggest rapidshare fan. Tbh, downloading this one was trouble free (is that what comes from being upped by someone with an account there?) but sometimes it’s a nightmare.

Had one set there the other day that took me about 10 minutes to download – it had this mad captcha where you had to spot cats on unintelligible letters. I got wrong 4 times and had to wait about 2 minutes between attempts.

I liked how it hinted the reggae in with the jungle, but mainly using the reggae as a intermission for the beats. Really cool sound.
