CD review from Boomkat (http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=42215)
“I’m not sure exactly how you’re supposed to ‘remix a mix’ as the liner notes coolly suggest, but Spank Rock affiliates Devlin and Darko have managed to do it, taking Spank Rock’s Fabric mix and, well, mashing sh*t up, so to speak. So it might not be entirely legal, but this is a limited edition and we all love a limited edition don’t we? Listening to the mix (and knowing how the Spank Rock one goes…) I can hear that they’re doing things in a different way, firstly there’s rather more of an obvious party vibe going on here, occasionally giving even little me the need to jump the hell up and shake those dancing feet (okay maybe I’m lying… I mean chop them off). We’ve got (from what I can hear) bits of Kurtis Blow, CSS, and my personal fave Uffie blended into all kinds of new-wave, no-wave, post-punk, post-funk and hip-hop and if you wanna partaaaay then I can’t really think of many better ways to go about it. You know you wanna go – you’re better off dead.”
