Beastie Boys :: Live at Randy's Rodeo, New Jersey
Description
Check Your Head was the most influential album & music compilation in my young & reckless days of youth. It defined who I was growing up as a punk ass skater dude with a tendency to find trouble on every corner…lol maybe we created trouble from time to time, maybe, but i will never admit that in a court of law.
My youth is why I share music here, I used to have boat loads of bad karma and I paid for it in spades of bad luck, actually not just bad, but astronomically inconceivably brutally bad luck. And it lasted for years but finally it all came to an end and i am now even steven with the karma police.
These days if I do something which I know isn’t quite ethical or good, within 12 hours max my karma will smack me down hard enough for me to think about the error of my ways. I tested it by “stealing” a whole lot of candy from the bulkfood section of the grocery store on the way into work (who doesn’t do that?), although I ate it all cruising the aisles, I still never paid for it.
6 hours later the pop and snack machines took me for almost $10 at work leaving me with nothing to buy food with on a long depressing night shift.
what this has to do with the beastie boys is beyond me.

This set was actually not at “Randy’s Rodeo”. It was at A club called “Tradewinds” on the shore in New Jersey in a town called “Seabright”. It was the first Beastie Boys show I ever went to live. Just thought anyone with OCD like myself might want to rename this file accordingly :)

yes i checked beastiemania but not having any sort of clue about new jersey, new york, randy’s rodeo, hell had to google seabright doubting its existence. thought about just smearing them altogether and hope for the best but just left it as i received it. thanks for the clarification but at the end of the day i don’t really care much because of the better then average bootleg quality.
peace.
Planet X is coming.

Sorry…it just means alot to me being the first beastie show i ever went to live…still have the ticket stub. I guess there is high price beachfront property now where that club used to be. I first downloaded this mix a couple years ago and was very happy to have that high quality soundboard bootleg of my first Beastie Boy concert.
