File hosting sites

Hello, I always preferred to use MEGAUPLOAD because I find it quick and easy to use. I read a post by Ryan saying that it was doing that infinate loop thing that (the god awful creation that is…) Z share does.
i think there was some issue with people in Asia not being able to d/l from it too.

Can anyone suggest some decent file hosting sites?

I’ve got the Rephlex Records – Radio1 /One World Mix and I’m going to have a go at upping it with mediafire now because I find it quite convenient to download from and I’m hoping its not a total ballache to upload files to.

I’ve used mediafire for most of, if not all my sets. I’ve had a couple issues here and ther but im quite happy with them. It’s very painless to upload files… and there is no waiting times to download.
I use megaupload as my backup.

yeah cheers man, I’m uploading with mediafire now and I’m finding the experience quite enjoyable.

I just needed to register by putting in my email address then password twice. Took literally 5 seconds
I expect that next time I’ll just sign in using my email address.

Taking a bit of time time upping though, but then I suppose it is a pretty big file.

i hate reporting megaupload like that, its usually great for upping and downloading mixes, and i was able to finally upload the Morphin mixes. z-share is infamous for the infinite loop thing, which was way worse than the megaupload loop cuz you had to go through so much shit before being looped to the beginning. megaupload was going back n forth between two pages.

however, that is the only trouble i’ve ever had with megaupload. medaifire, rapidshare, and yousendit are other sites i adore cos they’ve never hassled me.

just don’t get too down on megaup since they host probably 60% of the mixes here, if not more.

Never had any problems with Megaupload but can’t say I’ve never heard reports of issues from other people.

Rapidshare’s better now they don’t have those batshit crazy captchas any longer, though I do hate the business with having to wait an hour before coming back to download anything else.

Never mind though, we’ll have hosting here sorted within…. hmmm… 3 weeks I reckon.

I know I’m always talking about stuff like that and never coming through but I’ve solved all the practical side of how it’ll work and have all a week off work coming up when I’ll get it sorted.

I’ve never had any probs with MegaUpload. Did you know if you register with them the countdown timer starts at 30 seconds instead of 60?

I’ve got an account with Rapidshare so the only probs I have with them are when their servers are down. Happens probably once every couple of months. I have noticed a few times that the RS page doesn’t load. It sort of sticks and you’re left looking at a blank screen. If this happens, try getting rid of the www. part of the address. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I’ve been stuck in the Z-Share loop too. Fucking annoying. Same thing also happens sometimes with EasyShare.

I’ve had a few looping probs with DepositFiles too, but when that happens, I replace the www part of the address with ssl. I found this tip a while back on some forum. It seems to work though I’ve no idea why.

Oh man, I’d love to get back up there. As soon as I’ve got my shit together and I’ve got time and money again I’ll be back into it and getting my winged suit :-)
