What it's all about

Sharing mix tapes.

Mostly it's old school hip hop, turntablism, breaks, soul, funk and d'n'b, but more and more we're starting to see some dubstep, house and trance appear.

Sources are generally radio recordings, live sets, bootlegs, etc - nothing commercial.

How it works

People post mixes. Other people download them. Some come back to comment and vote. Downloads are recorded so we can all find more music and artists through exploring what other people listen to.

Mixes are mostly hosted at file hosting sites like Rapidshare and Megaupload, but PT is now hosting sets which should make life a little easier.
